There are arrivals, and then there are arrivals by private yacht. Impression Isla Mujeres made the beginning of the trip feel like part of the experience instead of simply transportation to the resort.
What stayed with me, though, wasn’t one flashy moment. It was how consistently the service, setting and little details made everything feel easy.
The arrival set the tone
We transferred from Cancun by private yacht with music, drinks and fruit. By the time we arrived, the vacation already felt underway. It was fun, beautiful and exactly the kind of transition that makes a luxury trip feel considered from the beginning.
The Honeymoon Suite
We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite with a private balcony and sea views. The setting was gorgeous, but what I loved most was having a space that felt private enough to actually slow down and enjoy where we were.
Service that was actually useful
The resort included 24/7 butler service. To me, good service isn’t about having someone hover—it’s about making the trip easier at exactly the moments you need it. That level of support was a real part of why the stay felt elevated.
And yes, the food mattered
The food was incredible. A beautiful resort can get your attention, but if the food and service don’t hold up, the shine wears off quickly. Here, the experience felt strong all the way through.
